what are you really good at?

i have a passion for writing, let it be songwriting, writing poetry (on the spot), speeches and rally texts – and that’s a wrap on the writing. i feel empowered standing in front of a camera, so i would be remiss if I didn’t add “modelling”. i have some moderate singing experience, a flexible rhythmic body and whilst not being “really good” at it yet, i have aesthetic basic notions of dancing and body movements.

what do you do besides modelling?

my passions lie somewhere between structured-activism and creative-chaos. i find peace and purpose helping amazing queer activist here in berlin. being part of the Kvetch. collective has giving me a great deal of personal gratification; it allows me to use dancing and performing and drag as one of my (way too) many outlets. now, surrounded by trail blazing queer activist and musicians, djs and artists, that have dedicated their entire life to their passions, i am trying to do my part and use my studies in communication science to give projects a footing, a solid ground! but I wouldn’t be a berliner if i hadn’t told you that i also get euphoric every time i stand behind the camera and get to direct and connect with a diverse cast of talents – it took me 29 years, a lifetime of weight gain and weight loss, and being found and loved by a special someone to find the beauty within me. i know how to make my models acknowledge their own beauty and i will dedicate my life to the ones stepping in my footstep

who are your lgbtqia+ role models?

i have to refer to a cliché at this point - an icon who has discussed, explained and served the subject of transgender and intersexuality to the general public on an insanely commercial and large scale. we are talking about cher, of course. in addition, my personal hero, even if not directly a role model, is my "guncle". My "uncle of the heart", who has supported me since i was 12 years old when it came to the subject of sexuality, who showed me the strength with which we have to fight for a solid foothold outside the community when there is no family safety net. this person showed me the bond between two people who share a destiny and therefore form a community, a family, and taught me that we cannot hold this front against the outside world alone, but must bring all our brothers and sisters and siblings in the lgbtqia+ community to us, help, support and strengthen them together

what makes you get out of bed in the morning?

myself. it took me (too) long to realise that the only strength i need to master the day lies within myself. my passions and hobbies are just the little extra i use to sweeten my life, give my life purpose. but to meet this question with an answer, i would say: music and art, i feel alive when i get the chance to help my community. then there’s also this untamable adventurousness and my need for anything but mediocrity. oh, and of course the beautiful souls i have the honor to call my friends.
