who are your lgbtqia+ role models?
i don’t really have any role models (in the traditional sense of the word) in general to be honest, but i am very taken by the lgbtqia+ community in berlin and my friends within the community here whose stories and activist work inspire me on a regular basis
what makes you get out of bed in the morning?
this changes constantly, but at the moment, all of my plant family that i am caring for as well as by balcony on sunny mornings
anything else you want people to know?
i am a photographer, producer, and art director and i am also the founder, EiC and digital managing editor of YEOJA Mag. i do community work for YEOJA as well as community work and organising with other collectives like night school. i also helped organise germany’s first large-scale demo against hate towards AAPI and Asian diasporic people with a collective of folx from the asian diasporic community. i play guitar and sing, skate, and go clubbing in my freetime. my identity as a trans-racially adopted korean american queer jewish woman has been so integral and fundamental to the way i which i navigate this world and the way in which i see and understand things and i hope that i have the ability to talk about this unique intersection of identities to help educate others in the near future
