what are you really good at?
i love to put together and work with a queer crew to see out a creative vision from concept to final cut, in an environment that is fun, open and productive for both the talent and the crew. these creative and safe work places benefit everyone and allow for the final product to reflect our authenticity. i also love to problem solve. from starting my first zine at 16 to making my first feature documentary, i have always worked to document and create a platform for my lgbtqia+ family, and i am so happy that we are being heard.
who are your lgbtqia+ role models?
my role models have always been from lgbtqia+ communities. i have gotten to work with many of them over the years, and many of my friends and colleagues have now been added to my list of role models!
what makes you get out of bed in the morning?
usually it is my cat who makes sure to purr in my face to wake up. i wouldn’t want it any other way. what keeps me going is knowing i am part of an international community and making a difference in this world.
